After missing more than the last 10 months of National Hockey League action, Sidney Crosby will return tonight against the Islanders. Dirk Nowitzki Jersey . To say its the NHL story of the year so far would be a drastic understatement.  While his return is garnering a lot of deserved attention, what about the expectations? Before his season abruptly ended following back-to-back hits on Jan. 1 and Jan. 5, Crosby was having a monstrous 2010-11 season, recording 32 goals and 34 assists in 41 games.  He had a strangle hold in the point scoring race, and was on pace for the NHLs highest scoring season in well over a decade. Now that Crosby is back from his concussion, what do you as a fan expect? On one hand, theres a thought that while Crosby hasnt played, hes practiced hard for a few a months and therefore should be able to almost pick up where he left off after a week or two, and that even with giving a lot of players in the league a 17-20 game head start that he could be one of the top 10 scorers when the season is all said and done. Another line of thought is that Crosby will be better than average, but wont approach his 2010-11 numbers. That way of thinking sees Crosby finishing the season with 50-65 points and being a solid contributor to an already very good Penguins team. There is also a fairly silent minority that hope Crosby will be able to stay healthy and avoid getting another concussion, but point to the experiences of players like Marc Savard, Peter Mueller, Paul Kariya and others who either cant or couldnt shake the spectre of concussions. For now though, everyone can agree that the NHL is a much better product today now that Sidney Crosby is back. Youve read the arguments, now we want to hear from you. Our question: What do you expect from No. 87 for the rest of the season?  As always, its Your Call! Henrik Sedin Premier Jersey . The Senators have 76 points and are one back of Buffalo for the Northeast Division lead. However, Ottawa has been dealt two straight 4-1 losses since the NHL has emerged from its Olympic break. O.J. Miikka Kiprusoff Jersey . They also added depth at goaltending, signing Andrew Raycroft to a two-year contract. The 27-year-old Burish missed much of the past season due to injury, playing in only 13 regular-season games and posting 1 goal and 4 points. Drew Doughty Jersey . It will be a stark contrast for the Habs, who have not won a game in New Jersey since Jose Theodore earned a 1-0 victory on Feb. 5, 2002. That win gave Montreal a 1-21-4 record against the Devils since Oct. Carmelo Anthony Jersey . Ellis walked, drove in two runs and extended his hitting streak to 12 games, while Cust went 2-for-4 for the Athletics, who have taken the first three games of the set after a six-game slide. Anderson (7-6) yielded two runs -- one earned -- on eight hits while walking one and striking out six to end the season with his 18th career victory, the 3rd most wins by a pitcher before the age of 23 in Oakland franchise history.(Sports Network) - The well-rested Montreal Canadiens will try to parlay their newfound momentum tonight against the Ottawa Senators when the teams meet at Scotiabank Place. "I think the Stanley Cup champions showed up and they decided they wanted to play. They were determined to win, and the solutions that we had for them werent working," Sens coach Paul MacLean said. "They were quicker than us. They were on the puck better than we were. They made us play in our end way, way too much. When those things happen, bad things happen." Now the Senators will return to Canadas capital for a three-game homestand versus the Canadiens, Sabres and Rangers. Ottawa has won four in a row at home and sports a 5-2-0 record as the host this season.
